The Drop formed as an alternative to drugs and hopelessness and provides a place where youth can grow, be a part of a community, experience love and art, express themselves and develop skills for a future career.


I wanted to create an identity that was creative, artistic, and colorful while still being bold and expressive. The client suggestion that they wanted to display motion which is done through the use logo typography. It is a handwritten font that was manipulated to fit together perfectly and have the appearance that it is going somewhere. It is also a soft and fluid font which can communicate the safety and approachability while also being a little messy and chaotic which conveys a sense of edginess.
